In a Lagos hotel hall decorated with rainbow flags, activist, author and theologian Rev. Jide Macaulay, in 2006 brought together a sizeable community of people together in love. Macaulay birthed House of Rainbow, a fast-rising church with a large followership across Africa, and the United Kingdom.House of Rainbow church offers prayers, preaching and support to Christians persecuted by homophobia. In about fifteen days from now, on Friday, 2nd September 2016 precisely, House of Rainbow will hold its 10th founding anniversary in the United Kingdom at Methodist Church Hall, 132a Green Lanes, London N16 9BN from 6.30pm. Special guest speakers are Pastor Paul and Laureen Bailey, while the event comperes are Andreena Bogle, and Malik Muhammad. There will be music, poetry and entertainment ministrations all through the event.The 10th year anniversary celebration service is a free event with all welcome, while a hot buffet will be served to guests.
